AJAX and OpenLaszlo

In the past, OpenLaszlo was regarded as a Flash-only tool. In fact, OpenLaszlo is a powerful language for rich, declarative user interface programming that's been under development for over 5 years. It's a powerful framework, and it has an exciting future as a single open source language that can target both the Flash and DHTML/AJAX runtimes.

In this talk, Max will give an overview of the upcoming plans for OpenLaszlo and how they relate to the Ajax community at large. Learn about the OpenLaszlo codebase and how to use and extend it. See an overview of the LZX language, a demo of the current Ajax support, and discuss the future of OpenLaszlo as an Ajax platform.
